cover his trail. However, justice prevails in the end in this film which attempts to delve into the psychology of youth but winds up as a long list of cliches. The only question it raises is why actors like Grahame, Bel Geddes, and Asner would ever appear in trash like this. It was originally to

have been produced and directed by Abby Mann, who also contributed the original, uncredited screenplay, but a disagreement with the studio resulted in his departure from the project, which turned out to be the last film produced by National General.
