If a prize could be awarded for the most outlandish premise to be filmed, this movie would be a leading contender. Someone is leaking valuable secrets to enemy agents and all guilt points toward opera prima donna Labarr. Falkner, a policeman who coincidentally possesses a great voice

himself, is enlisted to watch her under cover, posing as a member of the opera chorus. Bouchier, another opera singer, falls for the cop, as does the suspect. Bouchier grows jealous over Labarr's affection towards her would-be beloved, so she helps prove the opera star really is a spy. This absurd

story is somehow blessed with good opera sequences. Otherwise, it's just another so-bad-it's-good film.
