An entertaining crime comedy, filmed independently in Toronto and using Canadian and British actors and crew. Good plot finds Gould as a branch-office bank teller who learns that Plummer, a bank robber in a Santa Claus suit, is about to rob the coffers. During the robbery Gould hides

$50,000 in cash. Then, when the proceeds of the robbery are reported by the press, Plummer realizes he is being accused of having stolen more than he got. So where did the money go? Plummer figures it out and begins to besiege Gould, who has put the money in a safety deposit box at the bank but

has somehow lost the key. In the end, it gets a bit brutal and bloody, but Gould and York wind up as winners. Some very funny lines, and Gould carries off his role with aplomb. Plummer, whom we've all come to know as a benign and heroic type, etches a sensational performance as a vicious villain.

The battle of wits is peppered with funny lines and the suspense seldom flags.
