Middling action thriller designed to cash in on the highly profitable shark-phobia set off by JAWS (1975), directed by versatile Italian genre filmmaker Enzo G. Castellari. American adventurer Mike di Donato (Franco Nero) has settled in a quiet Mexican community and hunts sharks, though he's really looking for something else: A downed plane that was carrying millions of dollars in cash. Unfortunately for Mike, who survived that very crash, the corporation to whom the plane and the money belonged hasn't lost interest in its recovery. They hire some tough guys, led by Ramon (Werner Pochath) to threaten Mike's wife, and eventually local crime boss Captain Gomez (Eduardo Fajardo) figures out what Mike's up to and tries to get to the cash before Mike does. More a crime picture than a thriller, the film does deliver some shark wrestling.
