A feud between brothers is at the center of this action-packed western. Payne is the responsible elder sibling, Homeier the young hood. Payne, tired of bailing Homeier out of trouble, heads for Colorado, where he gets work setting up a stagecoach line. It's not long before Homeier ends

up in the same town, but on the side of Cobb, the nasty head of a local outlaw gang. Not only does Payne win the battle, but he also gets the girl, Freeman. Bill Gullick's novel Man from Texas, which was serialized in The Saturday Evening Post, provided the basis for this satisfying ride through

the Old West. Though the story is set in Colorado, the location shooting for the film was done in Utah.
