A pleasant little film starring Calfa as a hip young New Yorker who arrives in British Columbia on his three-wheeled motorcycle and rides into the life of aging prospector Pleasence and his friend Reid. The youth persuades Pleasence to search for a lost gold mine, much to the dismay of

Reid who had hoped Pleasence had given up prospecting for good. Reluctantly, she joins the adventurers, and, eventually, they locate the mine. An accident causes the gold to spill into a raging river, washing their dreams out to sea. The conclusion is not as sad as it seems, because the trio have

formed a deep friendship. Pleasence obviously delights in his role; his performance sparks the film. A bit trite.
