Henry and Frankiss are a pair of unappreciated workers at the Henry VIII Pub where Henry soon attracts a following who like to hear him sing. His die-hard fans enthusiastically tag him Henry the Ninth, and Frankiss joins him in his act. The owner, however, prefers laborers to singing stars so Henry and Frankiss leave for a life of fame on the stage.
