lustful roommate Monsour. The two sleep together and become engaged, but Laughlin drops her when he finds out that she's been sleeping around. Laughlin then finds that the sympathetic Quine is still willing to lend him her support. She also convinces him to go to a speech clinic for help.

Direction is uneven, with the script a bit cliched. The sexual mores seem incredibly naive in retrospect.
