her father (Mowbray), a successful thespian in his own right who is known to be on the skids financially. Because he's in line to inherit his brother's estate, he becomes the most likely suspect. Through perseverance and plot twists, critic and cop sort things out and justice is served.

Workmanlike direction from Albert Herman and a minuscule budget prevent this mystery from rising above the mundane, although the backstage locations help a bit.
