Average Autry outing puts the singing cowboy and his pals in the horse-selling business. Their main clientele is ranchers, but a tractor company persuades the cattlemen that horses are a thing of the past and puts the group out of business. Forced to work as singers on the radio, Autry and

company find themselves being sponsored by the same tractor company that drove them out of business. When Autry learns that the company's tractors have been nothing but trouble for the ranchers (they constantly break down), the singing cowboy surmises that the tractor company is crooked and kicks

the outfit out of town. Republic Studios noticed a young singing cowboy in the background named Dick Weston and signed him as Roy Rogers to replace Autry, who left the studio after this picture because of a contract dispute.
