Hutchison is a wealthy young playboy who accidentally gets caught up in the chase for a master criminal (Love) known as "The Fox". He catches Love's flunky in Powers' bedroom, but the flunky is eventually poisoned by the crafty Love. Next, the master criminal sets up a woman for a

potential jewel robbery, posing as "Capt. James" in order pretend to protect her. In a coincidence that could only occur in the movies, the woman turns out to be Hutchison's aunt. Hutchison has started to date Powers, whose brother, Middleton (just as inept here as he is as Ming in the FLASH

GORDON series), has been embezzling her money. Middleton then arranges to kidnap Hutchinson, while Love has been sending out similar threats. After Hutchinson is kidnaped, Love volunteers to find the man. Eventually, Hutchison realizes that "Fox" and "James" are one and the same. All the bad guys,

including Middleton, are neatly handled in a climactic cliffside ending, as the two lovers end up together. Fairly competent production for a thriller from one of the Poverty Row studios. Hutchison had been an actor and director for silent serial thrillers in the 1920s, and performed his own

hair-raising stunts in this film.
