who brings horror-story writer Carradine to a discotheque popular with monsters. The disco setting serves as the framing device that links three tales of the macabre related by Erasmus. In "The Shadmock Story," a man (Laurenson) who possesses a lethal whistle finds himself pursued by a woman

(Kellerman) who wants to steal it from him. "The Vampire Story" finds a young man (Saire) trying to defend his vampire father (Johnson) from Scotland Yard inspector (Pleasence). And in the last tale, "The Humgoo Story," a movie director (Whitman) goes on location to shoot a horror story, only to

find the place infested with real monsters. While the stories themselves aren't very good, the framing device featuring Price and the late Carradine is particularly bad. Although the two veteran performers present themselves well, the concept of a monster disco is merely silly, and the terribly

cheap masks on the various creatures make the whole thing look like a home-movie shot in his basement by 12-year-old with a camera. In addition, the scenes are padded with performances by rock groups (including Pretty Things and UB40) and a female stripper who takes it all off--right down to her

bones.
