A murky plot mars this otherwise interesting film noir that, oddly, casts Wyatt as a femme fatale who is having an affair with police lieutenant Cobb. She is in the process of divorcing Warde when he attempts to rob his own house. He is shot by Wyatt, who calls on Cobb to help get rid of

the body. They decide to take the corpse to the airport and deposit it there. They are seen, however, and policeman Dall, who is Cobb's brother, discovers that Cobb is involved in the cover-up. Cobb and Wyatt hide out at the base of the Golden Gate Bridge but are discovered by Dall, who

unknowingly has been trailed by the police. Cobb is brought to trial and in the courtroom sees Wyatt with her new paramour, a lawyer.
