This is the second film in Monogram's Rough Rider series after ARIZONA BOUND. The semi-complicated plot finds Jones with an orphaned baby on his hands. Seems the child's parents were murdered by rustlers. He takes the infant to McIntyre's ranch, only to discover that she too has suffered

at the hands of the rustlers. Along come Jones' pals McCoy and Hatton (who have secretly been working with Jones all along) and together they find out what's really going on and stop the bad guys. A good deal of this film is simply remnants from ARIZONA BOUND. These films were made when Jones and

McCoy were getting along in years. Hatton, in the comic "old timer" role, was actually the youngest of the three. The plot of this film is a familiar one, first screened in William Wyler's HELL'S HEROES (1929), and later in many other films, the best known being John Ford's THREE GODFATHERS

(1948)--itself a remake--starring John Wayne.
