Bad, spotty color is featured in the opening scenes of this mediocre effort, with stock footage of a genuine rodeo parade intercut with shots of heroine D'Orsay riding a rope-manipulated phony bucking bronco. The remainder of the picture is in black and white. The delightful D'Orsay is

spotted astride her bronco by theatrical flack Kelly, who decides he will Svengali her to stardom. An Atlantic City beauty contest falls to her favor, and then a stage production. She resists the big-city importunities of the lustful, devilish angel of the show--Warwick--who, by way of warning,

has his heavies beat rival Kelly to a bloody pulp. Hurrying hospitalward, she comforts Kelly; at the film's close, marriage to her mentor seems imminent.
