This is the 3-D sequel to REVENGE OF THE CREATURE and the third time around, with little of the magic of the original picture present. The film has the creature--again played by then-swimming champ Browning in the underwater sequences--captured and brought to the US to be studied. Through

an accidental lab fire, the creature's gills are burned off, but scientist Morrow discovers the creature has air-breathing lungs. He performs a tracheotomy and the creature is able to live out of water. Things are going along well until Morrow becomes jealous of fellow scientist Palmer's

attentions toward his wife and kills him in a fight, wounding the creature in the process. The creature escapes and walks off into the ocean either to make another sequel or drown.
