A ridiculous Spanish western with Madison as a sort of feudal lord of a mining town. (He has even gone so far as to import a castle from Europe in which to live.) The citizens finally become fed up with taking orders from this loony, so they try to hire a new sheriff. Their efforts become

frustrated because Madison's men gun down all the applicants. Suddenly Bosley rides into town with his metal robot "The Bang Bang Kid." The Kid can defend the town and not be killed. That is, of course, if Bosley can get the machine working properly. Much of the comedy is taken up by Bosley's

tinkering with the robot like a surgeon. Once the metal machine is running, it's only a matter of time until Madison is sent packing. The film is funny in a silly way, but constant fantasy sequences of Madison seeing the whole town as if it were in the Middle Ages become distracting.
