A group of American soldiers (characterized to fit all the usual molds) and three Brits are trapped behind enemy lines in Korea. They work their way to what is supposed to be a friendly outpost, only to find that the rest of their company has been wiped out. They are commanded to stay put
and hold the spot for the other companies to push in. They do so with help from the Navy, which swoops in from off shore to keep the North Koreans at a distance. As they fight, the Americans and Brits become buddies. For romance, Castle sets her sights (and succeeds) on snaring rough guy Conte.
