Squeaky-clean Watson becomes a secretary to wealthy Woods, who has a very eligible college-aged son, Sheffield. Green is a conniver who wanted her daughter to get the job so she could charm Sheffield. Of course, Sheffield and Watson hit it off, so Green and her daughter do everything

possible to make the girl look bad. They even try to get her house taken away for back taxes. But Watson's grandfather and uncle find an old deed that shows that they own not only their house but the land where Green and her clan reside as well. Watson wants no part of her relatives' dirty

dealings. Woods secretly pays the money owed, even when Watson's hillbilly relatives ruin a party. Everyone shrugs it off, and Watson and Sheffield find eternal happiness. Compiled from three episodes of the TV series, this was the last of four "Tammy" pictures that began with Debbie Reynolds in

the title role in 1957.
