British pop star Cliff Richard, a perennial chart-topper in England who never made it in the States, stars here as Don, one of four mechanics planning to use one of London's famous double-decker buses to run a travel service across the European continent. On a test run they crash into a

car carrying an all-female musical trio, totalling the women's vehicle, then offer to drive them to Athens. Along the way, they pick up Barbara (Lauri Peters), who is posing as a boy in order to hide from her mother and press agent. She's really an American singing sensation with a taxing schedule

that won't allow her a vacation, out on an incognito lark. Don and Barbara soon are in love, but the romance is complicated when Barbara's mother accuses the mechanic of abducting her daughter. The performances are sufficient for the meager demands of the story, which is mainly an excuse for the

nifty European scenery and well-integrated musical numbers. Songs include: "Bachelor Boy" (Bruce Welch, Cliff Richard), "All at Once," "A Stranger in Town," "A Swinging Affair," "Yugoslav Wedding" (Peter Myers, Ronald Cass), "Dancing Shoes," "Foot Tapper" (Bruce Welch, Hank B. Marvin), "Summer

Holiday" (Bruce Welch, Brian Bennett), "Les Girls," "Round and Round" (Bruce Welch, Hank B. Marvin, Brian Bennett), "The Next Time" (Buddy Kaye, Philip Springer), and "Big News" (Mike Conlin, Cliff Richard, Ronald Cass).
