Early British comedy--the producers hadn't yet discovered the use of various camera angles and settings to help tell a story, so it's little more than a filmed version of a play. Hicks, who also directed and scripted, plays the "other man" to married woman Best, whose husband has been

busy pursuing his own affairs. Hicks takes Best to his apartment and accidentally gives her sleeping powder, and Best winds up staying the night. Harding, as the husband, shows up early the next morning, not to get his wife, but to get some advice from Hicks. This gives the latter the chance to

bring husband and wife back together. Picture has its moments but not enough to keep interest throughout.
