Rena Mero, the pro-wrestling star formerly known as Sable, is top billed in this cheesy cheesecake strut through ancient history. In her sacred cave, high priestess Shira (Rena Mero) promises her virgin followers a shot at marriage to the new king, Prince Alexander (Ryan McDonald); the noble-born daughters who aren't selected will comprise the lucky bride's court. But while Shira is out praying to a burning-tree god, blackguards who take their orders from Prince Alexander's sister, Briana (Daniela Krhut), kidnap the unsullied ladies. A pioneering supporter of women's rights, bold Briana feels slighted at having been passed over in favor of her brother; Briana, after all, practices fencing without safety guards and slays her opponents for sport. Briana intends to take over, and after drugging and imprisoning her brother she offers Shira's enslaved maidens two career choices: They can work in drafty silver mines while wearing skimpy or submit to forced sex with Alexander. Briana plans to murder any impregnated slaves after they give birth, become the Regent for all the King's heirs and keep Alexander around for stud service; having usurped her brother's power, she'll rule by proxy. After conferring with the fathers of the missing girls, Shira makes the trip to Briana's kingdom, where a chilly reception awaits. Haughty Briana exiles her to the mines, but Shira manages to engineer Prince Alexander's escape. Briana's minions recapture him, and only Shira's victory in a duel with Briana can save the enslaved vestal virgins. No-one expects superior artistry from a T&A picture, but it's not unreasonable to expect the sex objects to be presented attractively and in a variety of poses. Veteran exploitation director Lloyd A. Simandl restricts himself to a series of monotonous bend-over shots of the ladies' behinds, and pads the films running time with dull swordplay and flogging scenes.
