During WW II, the Nazis decided to use the ultimate secret weapon: a troop consisting of superzombies. Predictably, they didn't quite live up to the Fuehrer's needs, and at the war's end, the battalion was sunk with their ship off the Caribbean coast. During a storm some 35 years later,

however, a group of passengers from a luxury liner are stranded on a deserted island where an underground explosion resurrects the squadron. This NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD-style film is surprisingly well made considering its tiny budget. Adams, Buch, and FLIPPER star Halpin are among the nice

people attacked by the zombies. The scene in which the creatures rise from the water is memorable, and the zombie makeup was done by Alan Ormsby. Carradine has a nice cameo as a grizzled captain of a decrepit steamer, and Cushing plays the squadron leader of the zombie Nazis. Good fun.
