A group of outlaws commits a series of stagecoach robberies that costs an insurance company a large chunk of cash. McCoy and sidekick Peters are sent out to get to the bottom of things. They pose as card sharks and end up meeting the gang members. After a fight, the bad guys are rounded up

and handed to the authorities. This is a poorly done B flick with production standards well below the average western. The film's pacing is much too slow, and it is further hampered by poorly staged fight scenes and occasionally blurry photography. The acting itself is a joke, with McCoy rolling

his eyes on cue and Haddon giving us a nice view of her back and not much more. Director Newfield was the brother of producer Neufeld. RIDERS OF BLACK MOUNTAIN was one of the hundreds of low-budget films Newfield made for small production companies such as PRC.
