automobiles. He gives up his beloved horse, Silver, for a racing car. Walters is the daughter of a racing promoter who will be forced to marry the evil Kirke if her father loses a big race. Kirke does all the bad guy tricks you've ever seen: paying off the other driver, sabotage, and so on. Of

course, Jones comes to the comical climactic rescue, winning both the race and Walters' heart. It's all fairly silly, but directed with a lively style and some surprisingly creative camerawork.
