Red River Valley: Review

When ranchers are threatened by a severe water shortage, Rogers comes to the rescue by getting them to donate a total of $182,000 to build a new reservoir. But gambler Bardette cons the people into believing he's helping them and walks off with the money. Rogers lays down his guitar and picks up his gun in pursuit. This picture reunited Rogers with the singing group he helped to form before turning to acting: The Sons of the Pioneers. The combination provides for some well interwoven musical numbers in this western that has laughs to go with the action.
