The last film in Rogers' famous series. Barcroft and Caruso are trying to bring some diseased cattle into the US. Border patrolman Rogers has to stop them from spreading hoof-and-mouth disease. Though another patrolman is gunned down and there's a terrible sandstorm, Rogers manages to stop

the villains and keep American cattle disease-free. Unfortunately Rogers' last outing is no different from any other average work in the series. Hoof-and-mouth disease was an oft recurring motif in his films. Rogers' real-life wife, Evans, makes an appearance, and there are a few good cowpoke

tunes: "Slumber Trail," "Beyond the Great Divide," "You Never Know When Love May Come Along," as well as the title number (Jack Elliott, Aaron Gonzales, Jordan Smith). This was far from the end of Rogers' career; shortly after this picture was released, he and Evans began working on their first

television series for NBC, which was essentially the same as his film work.
