This is a simplistic, amiable comedy about the problems of an Irish family. Connolly is an impoverished landowner with two daughters. He insists that the elder (Lindsay) marry local rich man Baxter. The money will help Connolly and he'll have one less daughter to worry about. But Lindsay loves Stephens and is caught in a quandary. Leave it to her tomboy sister (Gaynor) to save the day.
