Bobby Shelton (Ted Wass) is a struggling musician whose wife (Roxanne Hart) is pregnant. He is having a tough time making ends meet. When he states aloud the familiar plea that he would sell his soul to the Devil, up pops Satan (George Burns) and a deal is struck.
