needed to pull it off successfully. The dialog is witless and overly cute. But the costumes are wondrous creations and the dance sequences nicely staged. Of course a film with a songster king would not be complete without music, thus ditties such as "His Majesty's Car," "The Band Is Gaily

Playing," "To Romance," and "Why Am I Happy?" (William Kernell) are included.
