Ice skating star Ralston is in love with the show's orchestra leader, played by Marshall. When a blackmailer who lives next door to the music hall where they perform is killed, Ralston and co-stars Walker, Kelly, Rutherford and Bishop are considered suspects. Marshall turns sleuth,

solves the crime with the help of a police inspector, Gargan, and the girls are exonerated. This is a better-than-average program mystery with the suspense built nicely by the director. Unlike many films of this nature, the killer isn't obvious, and the investigation actually entails some

thinking. In addition, there are some nice skating sequences featuring Ralston and some specialty acts. McKenzie sings some songs in the local cafe, with "My Wonderful One" and "Mess Me Up" among the numbers.
