This rancid horror film suffers from pretensions of social significance. Two repulsive brothers, McGuire and McQuade, live in the woods of New Jersey with their equally pathetic mother, Ross. Their home is filled with sugary breakfast cereals, brand-name consumer products, and dozens of

television sets (the media have driven them mad). When three young women have the misfortune to wander near the geeks' home on their way to a class reunion, the brothers capture the gals and spend the next 80 minutes or so subjecting them to various tortures until two of the girls escape and get

revenge by performing even grosser acts of violence on their tormentors. The film's got a lame "twist" ending guaranteed to irritate any sensible filmgoer with its obvious lack of thought.
