Kirk and Helm star as a pair of newlywed love birds who are having trouble consummating their marriage. The comedy starts when Helm picks up a copy of Mother Goose and begins reading to help overcome her nervousness in bed. For some reason, this causes her husband to faint. Later, he
secretly visits a psychiatrist who persuades him that he has a Mother Goose complex. The doctor tells him he can overcome his phobia by using LSD spray, hallucinating into reality the fairy tale characters from his fantasies. This is yet another example of the drug-confused cinema of the 60s.
