Top cast gets hurt by a pathetic story they cannot save. McGoohan is a U.S. revenue agent who wants to make a quick killing just before the repeal of Prohibition. An old army buddy, Alda, has plenty of whiskey and McGoohan wants it. But Alda backs down and McGoohan hires two ex-cons to scare him into completing the deal.
