Gifted western director Anthony Mann's second feature is a trite tale about a singing baseball player who can only sing when he has a cold. While his team is in spring training in Havana, the catcher-crooner (Allan Jones) gets a job singing at a club, alternating between sickness and health as he switches from the stage to the diamond.
