Lifeless comedy in which McLaughlin plays the butler to Loder, an earl with a thing for a certain chorus girl. Using underhanded methods, though with only the noblest of intentions, McLaughlin turns Loder away from the conniving chorus girl and towards his own daughter. Laughs are few and far between despite a decent farcical premise.
