Writers Seaton and House rewrote this play to fit the talents of comedian Benny. A friendly lawyer with a tightwad image, he is convinced by his valet, Anderson, to become meaner and business will boom. Benny agrees and soon the bucks start rolling in. But his girl, Lane, doesn't like the new Benny personality and dumps him.
