This poorly animated nonsense involves a young descendant of famous explorer Marco Polo. He's in possession of one-half of his great forebear's golden medallion of friendship. The plucky youngster is determined to return it to Xanadu but meets an assortment of pirates, dragons, and other

nasties before uniting his half with that of the predictably beautiful (and woefully helpless) princess. He, of course, also helps her get back to her rightful place on the throne. Everyone gets an equal share of blame for this one. The animation is no better than that of most Saturday morning

cartoons, and the songs that fill the soundtrack are unmemorable. Rydell, a minor pop star best known for his appearance as Ann-Margret's boy friend in BYE BYE BIRDIE, provides the hero's voice and limited singing talents.
