Teutonic comedy starring Moser as an uncle from Chicago who arrives in the small village of Groditzkirchen with only $10 in his pocket and a scheme to get rich on credit. He sets himself up as the village millionaire, with lowly bank clerk Ruhmann along for the ride. Though he knows the
scheme may go bust, Ruhmann exploits it for all it's worth in order to build a future for himself and his girl, Kiesler [Lamarr].
