Four short segments all concentrate on the theme of infidelity, coming up with some clever situations that make light of the possessiveness of the Italian male. The first and best segment, "The First Night," follows a young Sicilian couple on their honeymoon in Naples, where they are
invited aboard a millionaire's yacht. The rich gentleman offers the groom one million lire to sleep with the bride. The drunken groom accepts but the next morning, when the expensive hotel he has checked in to will not accept his check, he is faced with either relating his experience or going to
jail. Another vignette, "One Moment Is Enough," has Tagliani as an extremely jealous husband who keeps an eye on his wife wherever she goes, even to the rest room. He boasts of her faithfulness, but his clever wife manages to sneak numerous affairs right under her husband's nose. When Tagliani
finds out about his wife's promiscuity he attempts to drown her. Leaving her for dead, he returns to find her making love to a fisherman. In "The Last Card" Giuffre plays an unemployed soccer player whose wife, Drago, arranges for him to become a male prostitute to help alleviate their trying
financial situation. But Giuffre has such a hard time at this new profession that he runs back to his wife, declaring his desire to find a job. The last segment, "Saturday, July 18," has Koscina vacationing on the island of Capri for a month, joined for the last two weeks by her husband, Leroy.
The first day Leroy arrives on the island, he brags about his wife's faithfulness, only to find out later how wrong he has been.
