Cummings is an advertising man who is attempting to extricate himself from a love affair with Sten. Unfortunately, Sten holds the strings on a large account for Cummings' company that she won't renew unless he agrees to keep their flame fanned. Cummings is driven to fits of neurosis and is

removed from Sten's account, then is assigned to promote a new tome by Lamarr, a gorgeous psychiatrist. He meets her and is soon in her spell, confessing his problems to her. She begins treating him, and it isn't long before they've fallen in love with each other. Of course, Sten is still around

to cause problems, and matters get worse for Cummings when he becomes convinced Lamarr is simply using him as a case study. Lively and fun at the outset, LET'S LIVE A LITTLE starts to unravel somewhere in the middle. Cummings, who also coproduced, was adequate and Lamarr was, as usual, beautiful,

but she was never a great comedian and that's evident here. Laszlo's photography was a definite plus.
