1933, this was shown in three parts--TEMPETE SOUS UN CRANE (120m), LES THENARDIERS (90m), LIBERTE, LIBERTE CHERIE (95m)--and in three different theaters. It was later cut to a single 165-minute version and later edited again into two parts--JEAN VALJEAN (109m) and COSETTE (100m).
