In this Bond spoof that is almost totally devoid of laughs, Bill Cosby is Leonard, a retired CIA agent. His wife, Allison (Pat Colbert), has moved out and his dilettante actress daughter (Victoria Rowell) intends to marry her ancient director (Moses Gunn). As if this isn't enough, Medusa

(Gloria Foster) is plotting to take over the world by controling the animal kingdom, and CIA chief Snyderburn (Joe Don Baker) coaxes Leonard out of retirement to save the world. The film's would-be tongue-in-cheek attitude lacks focus, rendering the picture insipid. Foster, Gunn, and Baker are

forgettable in throwaway parts, but Tom Courtenay momentarily enlivens the proceedings as the butler. The other flicker of humor is provided by Anna Levine as a mystic.
