disapprove when he marries the woman, saving her from a detective in the U.S. who is investigating her past. To protect her, Lynn pretends that she is his stateside fiancee. It is all for naught because the private eye finds out her real identity and drags her back to stand trial in the U.S. Lynn

goes along to clear her name. This is a remake of OIL FOR THE LAMPS OF CHINA (1935).
