Kiss Me Kate: Review

It was originally released into theaters in 3-D, but even if you catch the "flat" version on TV, this colorful adaptation of the hit Broadway musical is still pretty darn eye-popping. Not only is the Cole Porter score top-notch, but the book — which parallels a musical production of Shakespeare's The Taming of the Shrew with the tumultuous lives of its actors — is one of the most intelligent ever.
