In this sun-baked emotional odyssey, writer-director Igor Fioravanti superficially examines the fears and reveries of three childhood pals whose mutual love endures into adulthood. Three adult Spaniards who were inseparable as children enjoy reunions on Ibiza. Free spirited Chica (Adriana Dominquez) drifts from relationship to relationship but always waits for her partners to initiate the break-up. Bisexual Carlos (Paco Marin) gets high and makes no apologies for his shallow sexual liaisons, shunning even the temporary commitments Chica manages to make. Carlos might be able to commit to his close friend, Nacho (Adria Collado), but uptight Nacho's moral code excludes a same-sex pairing. Nacho, who's just returned from India, tries to foist his newfound spiritual enlightenment on his hedonistic friends and does succeed in charming them into setting up a business partnership, a Mediterranean version of an ashram. Although the spiritual center attracts tourists and proves a boon to the local economy, only Nacho has his heart in the project. Realizing that it bothers Nacho, Carlos begins an affair with a rich male artist. Chica eventually leaves the island paradise for Africa, where she finds a lasting relationship

with a female doctor. Although he tries not to be judgmental, the celibate Nacho can't see beyond his own spiritual interests. Chica dies in a car accident, but at least she's given her heart fully for once; Carlos is diagnosed with AIDS, and faces going to his grave without having experienced an equally blissful union. Carlos disdains Nacho's pity and chooses not to fight the disease. Having lost his soul-mates, Nacho remains emotionally isolated. Will Chica's generosity of spirit and Paco's fearlessness alter Nacho’s future? Alternately pointedly dreamy and pointlessly vague, this meditative erotic tale slips in and out of the Carlos, Chica and Nacho's emotional stasis. Fioravanti lacks a sufficiently firm enough grasp of the medium to express all this simmering passion and consequently seems to be favoring Nacho, who risks nothing yet survives while his passionate friends die young.
