Italian-American photographer from the poor side of Manhattan who falls in love with Nicole (Kelly Van Der Velden), the debutante daughter of John Yeats (Christopher Plummer), a respected but cantankerous stage personality. Naturally, the lovers are determined to show everyone their affection

transcends monetary and cultural differences. A name cast didn't help this saga which is simply too mild to interest anyone beyond Bozzacchi who was directing a tale close to his own heart.
