Skillfully adapted by Robert Bloch (Psycho) from his own short stories, and boasting an excellent cast — Peter Cushing, Denholm Elliott, Ingrid Pitt — this four-part omnibus film from Amicus Studios is a bit better than most and a lot of good, creepy fun. The premise: Inspector Holloway (John Bennett) is called to an English country home where tenants have a habit of coming to exceedingly bloody ends.
