from making a complete fool of himself. There are a good many problems with this film, the foremost being Brent. He's woefully miscast, with no sense of comedy at all. The script is too farcical to work, and the director seems to have quit trying before he began. A restaurant scene, where Brent

tries to handle two dates at the same time, is mildly amusing, but that's about it. Surprisingly, the Epstein writing team scored a major success with their next film, CASABLANCA. You'd never know it came from the same hands after viewing this mess.
