Average Autry entry with an unintended gimmick: there's more action here than singing, something rare for the B's Singing Cowboy. Autry is a border inspector whose job is to make sure no diseased animals enter the US; Miller and Hart are a pair of cattlemen trying to ship in their infected

herd. When Autry quarantines these cattle, the two bad guys try to implicate Storey. Things look bad for her until Autry saves the day. Burnette is involved in a comic subplot concerning an elephant that has escaped from a traveling medicine show. Storey is the best thing in this otherwise average

film. She is natural in her role and really acts, unlike the majority of the western leading ladies. The songs are definitely lesser Autry.
